Program Overview
AFLH operates Ohio-licensed residential homes that provide structured living environments for adults who require supervision and supportive services.
The Adult Residential Support Program offers daily structure, assistance with living activities, and coordination with behavioral health providers when applicable. Services are delivered in accordance with Ohio Department of Behavioral Health regulations and individualized service planning requirements.
This program is designed for individuals who benefit from a supervised residential setting but do not require inpatient hospital care.
Who This Program Serves
The Adult Residential Support Program may be appropriate for adults who:

Require structured supervision in a residential setting

Benefit from routine and behavioral support

Are transitioning from a higher level of care

Require coordination with outpatient or community-based providers
Placement is determined through assessment and referral review.
Residential Services Provided
Services within the residential setting may include:

Behavioral support planning

Crisis response procedures consistent with regulatory standards

All services are provided according to individualized service plans.
Clinical Coordination
While residential support focuses on structured supervision and daily living assistance, residents may also receive behavioral health services through AFLH’s certified behavioral health agency or external licensed providers.

Clinical eligibility is determined separately through assessment.
Residential Environment
AFLH residential homes are licensed under Ohio regulations and operate within established safety and documentation standards.

This program is not a hospital, inpatient psychiatric facility, or skilled nursing facility.
