Program Overview
AFLH provides Ohio-licensed residential treatment services for adolescents who require structured supervision and therapeutic support in a residential setting.
The Adolescent Residential Treatment Program integrates supervised living with behavioral health services delivered according to individualized treatment planning and regulatory standards established by the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health.
This program is intended for adolescents who benefit from structured residential placement and coordinated behavioral health services.
This program is not an inpatient psychiatric hospital.
Who This Program Serves
The Adolescent Residential Treatment Program may be appropriate for adolescents who:

Require structured supervision in a residential setting

Have behavioral health treatment needs requiring coordinated care

Benefit from daily routine and monitored support

Require collaboration between residential staff and licensed clinicians

Are transitioning from hospital, detention, or community-based services
Eligibility and placement are determined through formal assessment and referral review.

Clinical Services Integration
Adolescents in residential treatment may receive behavioral health services through AFLH’s certified behavioral health agency or external licensed providers, as determined through assessment.

Residential Environment & Oversight
AFLH residential homes operate under Ohio licensing standards and regulatory oversight.
Each residential setting includes:
