Advocacy for Friendliness, Love & Hope (AFLH)
AFLH provides licensed residential care and certified behavioral health services for adults and adolescents across Ohio. Our programs are designed to deliver structured, person-centered care while meeting all state licensing, certification, and CARF accreditation standards.
Services are provided through clearly defined program tracks to ensure appropriateness, compliance, and continuity of care.
Residential Care Services
Adult Residential Care — Class 2
AFLH operates licensed Class 2 Residential Care Facilities for adults age 18 and older who benefit from supervision, daily structure, and supportive services.
Adult residential services include:

Adult residential care is designed to promote stability, safety, and long-term independence while maintaining resident rights and dignity.
Adolescent Residential Care — Class 1
AFLH operates licensed Class 1 Residential Facilities serving adolescents ages 10–18. These programs provide a structured residential environment integrated with behavioral health support and skill-building services.

Behavioral Health Programs
AFLH operates a certified behavioral health agency providing a continuum of services for individuals and families. Behavioral health services may be provided to residents within AFLH programs or to eligible individuals in the community, based on referral and program criteria.

Case Management Services
Coordination of services, monitoring progress, and linking individuals to community resources and supports.
Residential Treatment
Structured treatment services delivered within a residential setting for individuals who meet program criteria.
Day Treatment Services
Intensive, structured daytime programming focused on behavioral health stabilization, skill development, and therapeutic engagement.
Outpatient Treatment Services
Behavioral health services provided on an outpatient basis to support ongoing treatment, recovery, and community functioning.
Community-Based & Supportive Services
Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST)
Community-based services that assist individuals with daily living skills, symptom management, crisis stabilization, and service coordination.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation
Skill-building services focused on improving social, vocational, and independent living functioning.
Therapeutic Behavioral Services
Direct behavioral support services aimed at improving functioning, safety, and adaptive behaviors.
Specialized & Interim Services
Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP)
Structured residential programming for individuals who meet eligibility criteria, delivered in accordance with applicable standards.
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Case Management Services
Coordination and support services for individuals impacted by substance use disorders, including linkage to treatment and recovery resources.
Interim Initial Services
Short-term services provided to support stabilization and engagement while longer-term services are arranged.
General Interim Services
Temporary supportive services delivered during transitions in care or pending service authorization.
Mental Health Day Treatment Service
Structured daytime behavioral health programming focused on stabilization and therapeutic support.
Staffing & Service Delivery
Services are delivered by a multidisciplinary team that includes:
